Burning Tips
Follow these tips
The first time you burn your candles, don't trim your wick.
Burn it 1 hour for each inch in diameter of the candle (burn a 2.5" diameter candle for 2.5 hours). This is called a memory burn.
Burn container candles until a pool of melted wax completely forms across the top. This will ensure an even, clean burn all the way down the container.
When trimming the wick, trim the carbon ball at the top end of the wick.
Allow the candle to cool and reharden before lighting.
When extinguishing your candle, don't blow it out. Use a wick dipper to push the flame into the wax. This will extinguish your candle without the smoke, and primes the wick for the next lighting.
Discontinue burning container candles when there's 1/4" of wax left in the bottom.
Soy wax can be cleaned up easily with hot, soapy water.
