Richly Scented Soy Candles

In 2006, my husband, Larry, and I purchased Birch Creek Candles from our friends Tracy and Sheila Scott. They had been operating their business out of Pendleton, OR since 1993. Now, Birch Creek Candles is “Blue Mountain Specialties” and we have relocated the business to scenic Mt. Vernon, Oregon in the foothills of the Strawberry Mountains. We changed the name because we took the business and expanded it. We still produce quality scented soy candles, but we also carry a line of all natural bath and body products and Larry’s wood art sculptures made primarily from Juniper trees.

Our soy candles, (and products for bath and body) are safe, clean, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. In keeping with the tradition of being an environmentally conscious company, Larry uses only wood pieces that have fallen from the tree under natural circumstances. We strive to keep the heritage of our richly scented candles alive and you may notice that our domain name reads as birchcreekcandles.com.

The same tools, materials, and methods that produced the original line of Birch creek Candles are being used today. The same attention to detail and quality control has also been preserved. You can rest assured that the Blue Mountain Specialties candles being produced today are of the same caliber they have always been. The legacy of diligence and purity established by Birch Creek Candles lives on and spills over into our line of toiletries for bath and body as well as our custom wood sculptures.
